With the amount of progress and process in the modern world, I get pushed and pushed and pushed. But who doesn't eh?
When I came to the Enchanted Garden, I was welcomed home, now that I must go out and do very important work, it's an "all or nothing proposition." What, I'm either all here, or all gone? My soul lives in the Enchanted Garden. I'm here by spirit. My private matters are apparently now determined in public forum. My pace of seeking spirit and spiritual guidance is obviously not understood. My attempted communications and deep commitment with Coyote Brother are reduced to some kind of fright or flight reactions. And just as the coyote is misplaced by modern development, threatened by man of prey, and misunderstood and chased away, my nature guides lead me into the unknown, into the obviously dangerous presence of domestication. That takes great nerve and trust and all the angels and angles of protection and wit.
I was so hoping to feel home, to find safety in the Garden, to be accepted as the sensitive being that I am, to be appreciated for what I have to give, not berated and shunned for the very nature that created this garden and me and you, MY enchanted gardener. We have important work to do, I would hope we can work this out. If we are to heal the wounds of this land and our ancestors and make wise use of our precious lives, may we at least find peace between us. Let's be grateful for the inspiring and transformational work we do together. Let's recognize the sacred bond that holds us together on this planet. And let me be grateful for the beautiful love and hope you've shared with me - for your unending generosity to serve this Enchanted Garden community and to include me in it.
Do you know of compromise? Not the scalding water that's now coming out of the faucet at a temperature that can cause 2nd degree burns, not the cold water that gave tenants no chance of bathing properly, somewhere in between, where you and the other party have to adjust, and admit you're not the only one in this dance. Perhaps the water can come out at just the right temperature. And perhaps that will take a little negotiation, and perhaps that negotiation is worth preventing a war.
My point is, let's look into each other's hearts and minds and eyes when dealing with something as vital as survival. Let's treat each other with deserving dignity and respect, rather than being driven by fear, ego, emotion, power trips and stubborness. And please don't humiliate me in public or with those who respect me, and I will honor you in a similar manner. Thanks, I appreciate that chance. And if someone wants the room more, and is more deserving, more financially capable, more present at all times, or more appropriately placed by Great Spirit, may they have "my space." Ouch! that hurts.
But it is in dying that we're born to eternal life.
