::wiping tears from eyes:: Thanks so much, beenthere!

We on the narrow path don't hear much that's positive, but it's enough, because we have a Source of Life that cannot starve or die. I don't know if you saw my post, "Start Me Up", but it's right along the same lines as you wrote here. Discipleship is not something that happens automatically. People have to ask for it, but they don't, because they are afraid of the cost.

When I was very young I remember my mom reading the story of Solomon to me, where he asked God for wisdom instead of riches or long life. I decided then that wisdom was something we had to ask for, so I did. Later I also decided that there's no point in calling onesself a Christian if it's only done half-heartedly. I considered it unthinkable that the gift of salvation should be treated with anything but 100% devotion. So it never crossed my mind that the truth should be abandoned if persecution came. It's funny, I used to worry about not being persecuted!

I hope you get to see this, because I have the feeling that my blog's days here are numbered. Satan so hates the gospel that he has goaded his followers here to turn up the heat, and soon no Christian voices will be heard here. But the Lord only asks us to be faithful while we have the opportunity, and there is a time for everything. Soon he will return for those who wait for him! This is what drives me, the shortness of the time. There are so many people here at CZ that have never heard the true gospel, and I had to try.

Thanks again bro.
