I have had the Mirena in for 8 mos with horrible side effects and found this site yesterday. Please let me know the status of this class action suit because I would really like to sue the manufacturers and stop others from enduring the same pains. I woke up crying this morning over the agony of feeling miserable for 8 mos of my baby girl's life with horrible joint pain and fatigue, hair loss, change of hair texture, itching, stomach bloating, and depression and it was all preventable. I thought perhaps this was because I had recently had a baby and things would return to normal soon and perhaps that I was getting older because I'm almost 30. I would often tell my friend about my symptoms and she would relate because she had many of the same symptoms which made me feel maybe this was just normal for women our age who had just had babies. We both complained so much and wondered what else could it be because no matter how we sliced it, it just didn't feel normal to feel like we were 80 at age 30. I guess it isn't a coincidence that she also has the Copper IUD. Now as I read all of the messages, I realize all of my symptoms are related and all of those nights I cried and I didn't know why -- I was living day to day in hell. I'm so angry and hurt. I thought I was doing the right thing for my family.

Please let me know if you did pursue this and if so, how to be a part.
