I'm glad I'm not the only person who has had these experiences. It never happens when I have another aide in the room. That's why I'm glad 3 am rounds get done in teams. I've heard my name called too, very clearly. I've had the call light thing too when people are asleep and the bell isn't in the hand. I think some the residents die very lonely people and the nursing staff are their company.
