I am confused, who do you think is actually wrong here? Certainly not the person being interviewed, they are not engaging in doublethink and rearranging their beliefs to benefit themselves. That was obviously the goal of the program for you the listener though...for you to begin questioning the wrong things.

Just to recap some of what you said...

"This is some of what I heard today on a radio interview with an Islamic Cleric... When ask if the Koran advocated violance and or death to non belivers?? He answered that it did not!! But when ask how some Islamic believers would , could and do cut off heads, blow up, and other wise destroy infidales?? He said it was not Islamic religious bliefs; it was just for political reasons... HUH??"

I'm just curious about what radio news show you were listening to that did this interview...and perhaps if we see things a little differently here. The interviewer was obviously asking a stupid question, one that they may have well been asking anyone on the planet....do we agree? The interviewer automatically assumes that a crime has religious motivation, why? ...And, this person they are interviewing is an islamic cleric...so what? He has no more ability to explain such alleged crimes than anyone else. Also, where is the proof that a crime has even happened? Which brings up, why is this alleged crime even being brought up in the news...why are we constantly bombarded with such things, the controlled media perhaps? One person dies, it's a tragedy and can be used effectively as propaganda, ten thousand die and it's a statistic...this is what I see going on with the mainstream news. This is how people are brainwashed. Again, I hope you can maybe remember what show it was or who did the interview...it would be good to know.

If they are simply describing the same incident as what I believe they are referring to, a video of some guy getting his head cut off...The video has been discredited. People say there was no way he was even alive when they did that. And then, why do this...fake a beheading, unless you have some political motivations? So...the cleric being interviewed answered Truthfully? Truth was his motivation in delivering a not so widely known answer. Believe me, political...IS the probable motivation. If it was some misunderstood higher power to blame, would this almighty being not know they faked it? Regardless, the religious motivation thing serves mainly as a scare tactic.

So, let me just go over this again. As an islamic cleric, he was asked a question...those asking him assumed that he himself represented an entire group of people that must have identical beliefs. In making that assuption, those who asked him this question obviously did so because they had some motive. They are seeking to understand an entire group of people who are demonized for their beliefs, by asking one person? I would be offended, where as the cleric managed to keep his cool. They never asked him directly if he chose to answer the question as a representative...of all of these other people who "cut off heads." They simply implied that he was willing to speak on their behalf. The question was, how do YOU explain such tragedies. He answered very honestly by saying that the tragedies did not occur as a result of religious belief, especially as a result of religious beliefs as he himself understood them. Maybe I have missed something? He also followed up with telling us exactly what the probable motivation was for the alleged crime, as he saw it...had it even happened. Politics, he answered quite simply ...and politics to me is about the fascist, satanic government officials along with the military industrial complex, versus the people. Then, one must wonder....the person asking the question, what is their motivation? Do they keep up on current affairs very well, do they understand statistics or history?...or do they get paid to go to work and succumb to the established financial/power structure. Do they cut through to the really hardcore issues?..or are they a drone? Does the person asking the question have a clue on anything to do with the topic, or anything to do with its apparent political agenda perhaps? Bush spent 1.5 billion on "spin" ...spin, a playful little name for pseudo-science and brainwashing propaganda. There is a lot of politics in the media, if it is anything but politics that is.

I don't blame you for misunderstanding if this was the case, but that interview was all severely out of context I think...at least from what I've heard from you. That's what they do in mainstream news too, they have people with motivations come on and ask motivated questions and they bring people on with labels and then label them...and luckily in this case and sometimes others, their plans backfire. It has gotten really ridiculous lately, and one can only spread lies so thin before others begin to see through them. It is making my head spin...every time I hear mainstream news reports, it makes me sick.
