>>>What have you done for anyone lately? When is the last time you deliverd a food box to a family in need? have you stopped by a homeless person and gave him some water or a meal? do you serve meals to homeless people at a soup kitchen?<<<
I have been doing all of that and more with my time and money, and I will continue to do so without boasting or trying to get recognition for what I do.
I do it with love for God and his creation, and helping others is what is expected of us.
I do not feel a need to be in the limelight like Oprah does in her giveaways to the needy, and stand before the cameras to make sure people see how kind and wonderful I am for helping others in need, it is our duty to help each other. Pride, ego and boastfulness degrades what God intended us to do.
The reward is not seeking recognition for what we do, but in knowing we helping our family. Everbody is our family even if we do not approve of our differences :)
