Hello, and thank you for writing! I know next to nothing about Islam and the Holy Book the Qur'an but I what little I know is this: Muslims honor Abraham as the Father of their people, as do the Jews; he was indeed the father of Ishmael, the founder of the Arabic tribes, and Isaac, founder of the Hebrew tribes. The Qur'an honors Moses as being a Prophet, and honors Jesus the Christ as well. So there are definite links between Judaism and Islam, and Islam and Christianity, and of course Christianity and Judaism!
I believe if you boil down all religions to their basic spirituality, they primarily arise from the same Source. Years ago I studied Zen Buddhism; my teachers liked to use the analogy of the ocean: each wave (religion) appears to be separate from each other, yet at their base is the commonality if the ocean (Spirit/God/Universal Mind, whatever name we want to give the All-That-Is), and each wave melts back into the Whole of the Ocean from whence it originally arose.
Blessings!
