I thought you might be interested in this--just heard about it. I cut and pasted from the raw forum. (ugh. sausages!!)

If you have an unlimited budget, or a large one, you might want to look into the Sausage Maker's dehydrators. They are stainless steel (make sure to get the one whose trays are also stainless steel and not the chrome). They have a knob on the outside to adjust the heat, and a thermometer for the inside so you know exactly what temperature it really is. I intend to get one of these when I get back to the USA in a few years; I was forced to get the Excaliber due to shipping issues. If you do decide to go with the Sausage Maker, look on their web site for product descriptions, but surf the web to find a better price, since you can save a bit of $ by ordering from a third party who will sell below MSRP but still give you the same warranty.
