Yes, I'm a Christian and the name is sort of symbolic to where I was at when I started the fast. Feeling a little spiritually empty and seeking direction. Also in need of healing and weightloss. So, I went with the only name I knew could fill me (and describe where I was at and what was important to me), Living Water, who is Christ Jesus. :)
My typical day of fasting was 8 to 16 oz. of fruit juice in the a.m. (about 10am), then veggie juice, usually carrot around 2pm-3pm and veggie or fruit (depending on mood) around 6pm. I drank water throughout the day and would sometimes have tea at various times of the day. Oh and for the first half of my fast I drank 1 oz. of wheatgrass everyday.
I've heard people say that if you struggle with candidias, you shouldn't do fruit, but I have always fasted on fruit juice and the only juice that makes candidias act up for me is OJ. So, I don't do OJ. I also bulk up on the probiotics after the fast to help get some good bacteria in there. :)
I hope you're doing well and feeling great! Hoping to be joining you in another fast here soon. Hubby is going to camp tommorrow so I'll be able to start a fast tommorrow, hopefully. I have a hard time not eating around my husband. He can eat anything, eats a lot and gets away with it. It's just not fair. LOL :)
Blessings!
