Welcome to Sungazing!
Sounds like your central nervous system plus your outer nerves probably got a pretty good amount of healing energy. The normal way we've been told is that our nerves are like the wiring that let's electric impulses (information) flow through our bodies. And it's a pretty good analogy.
But with sungazing, you're literally upgrading your nervous system to a fiber-optic system! The information that flows through a fiber optic system is so much greater than a regular copper-based wire system. And the same is true in our bodies.
I have a friend who was in a bicycle hit-and-run incident, and he was left with a severely nerve-damaged arm. I told him about sungazing, and he took it to heart and went at it with full gusto. He says that his arm has improved about 90% since beginning sungazing and attributes the improvement directly to sungazing.
I have been sungazing for about 2 years, and like you, do not have a desire to discontue eating foods. (at least not while I haven't ascended yet. :-) When I first started, I used to see all of the colors you mentioned, they're after images. Except for one incident about 3 weeks ago, I rarely see them anymore, as my eyes have completely adapted. I believe what triggered the after images was this: I was working out, and I maxed out on the set (maximum exertion, maximum HGH release), and while my heart was still pumping hard, I immediately started sungazing. It was pure BLISS! Afterwards, I closed my eyes for a moment, and all those colors came to life again. More beautiful than ever before. I haven't attempted to repeat the experience since though, but now I have even the more reason to do my workouts outdoors!
As far as looking at the moon, HRM at www.solarhealing.com does not recommend it. I don't really have a formed opinion towards it one way or another, other than it's beautiful to behold.
