hey, john. reading posts in your o.j. fast blog and interested in some info there. i have, beside my matress, a book called cosmic memory by rudolf steiner. you might like it. it's, basically, as i understand it, directly from the akashic records — the astral plane memory of all events since time "began". it mentions how humans used to be parthenogenic till they began to think. diverting energy or whatever to that necessitated two sexes to procreate.

it talks about the evolution of the solar system back before the moon spun off the earth and before the earth spun off the sun. i mean, we are so ignorant.

also, back in the '70's i remember a big paperback book i got at the healthfood store — down the street from ann wigmore's sprout home in boston — that said in the golden age, lives were 100000 years long and man had the strength of 100 elephants, in the silver age it shrank to 10000 years and 10 eleph's, in the copper/bronze to 1000 and 1 eleph and now 100 (and i guess 1/10 an elephant, i don't remember).

fascinating your words about you and the bates method. i heard this really mellow-sounding guy on achieve radio who'd tried bates and made little headway then found a great mentor who helped it all come together. let me see if i can find his site.... nope, but found the mentor — thomas quackenbush who has a "better-than-bates" book out that it sounds like many have succeeded with.
