Today was a trying day. I started off with a Tbsp. of psyllium husks in 16 oz. water. The water made my stomach feel even more empty to the point that it hurt. I followed that with a Yogi Tea Detox tea with some maple syrup.

I went to work for my stepdad who has a home-based business. It's a great situation because I go there once a week to work for him and Mak goes with me and plays. But today was torture because for lunch they had Indian food, which is my favorite! I love me some Indian food...But I showed an enormous amount of self control and said no to it. Being from India himself, my stepdad took my fast in stride. I described the MC to him and he asked a few questions but was fine with it. I guess I automatically think people are going to be disapproving when they hear about it. But fasting is a cultural practice in India so I guess it's no big deal for them. So I resisted temptation and drank my lemonades and water.

Then to further test my resolve, my stepdad sent the leftover food home with me for my partner. So I had to sit through him eating the food again...it smelled so good!! MMMMMMMM. I'm already planning a trip to the Indian restaurant once I can eat that stuff.

Today I was so tempted to eat the Indian food. More than at any other point in this cleanse. I know I'm becoming stronger in will because before this I wouldn't have been able to resist. I had hunger pangs during dinner time too, which I haven't had before. Yesterday and today are supposed to be the hardest days so I guess it'll just get easier from here :)

Tonight I plan on drinking the Smooth Move and doing the SWF tomorrow morning.
I hope that I start getting some more energy soon...

I am so glad I deceided to blog my cleanse this time. Reading your blog is very refreshing. I did the Master CLeanser for 18 days last December and your experiences are very similiar to what mine were. I am starting tomorrow on a 12 day cleanse. Good Luck.... I will keep you posted on mine. I loathe the Salt Water Flush!

Im so glad I found a website where I can share my experience with others! This is my first time doing this and I am excited but nervous. Is the Salt water flush really that bad? I drank my tea tonight and I am starting the diet tomorrow.

It's nice to have all the support. And when I want to eat I can get online and connect to y'all. It's been a lifesaver!! I know that I get a lot out of reading other people's blogs and hope that I can do that for others.
Just know that whatever happens, you can do it! The SWF isn't too bad. I read somewhere of someone imagining it as chicken soup without the chicken flavor...that helps me get it down :) And when it comes back out, make sure you have some baby wipes on hand!! Even though I have wipes from my daughter around, (caution: graphic description ahead!) I didn't use them with the first flush and my booty was sore all day. A little baby powder back there helped though.
But I'm sipping on my salt water now as I'm typing this...it's not too bad. If you haven't read Zoebess's instructions on the Salt Water Flush, she describes how to do it, including some yoga poses to get the most benefit. I think you can find it in the Master Cleanse forum.
        Happy cleansing!!!
