Yeah!! It's Friday.
Day five did end with a light meal. I just felt too weak with the work I did and the schedule coming up.
Day six...yikes almost like being on a diet for two weeks...that is usually when I fail a diet. Everything looked good to me, the bucket of candy at home from Halloween, when I went to the store to get water I almost bought something else, and last night I was going to go for the left over pizza on the counter. Well, I made it!! I ate a big salad and stayed healthy. I was still hungry, but after a big glass of water, I felt fine and this morning, Friday, day 7, I am ready to go.
I am going to juice all day today and this evening since, I don't work on Saturday, I will juice tonight. Sat. and Sun. juicing.
Even though my work is physical, I need to up my exercise for my mental health and of course my lower body.
I haven't done any senna tea this week but I have been taking a colon cleanse pill. I can't risk having an attack during a session!! I had that happen once and left the room. I lost a client that way.
Anyway, I might get brave pull out the scale. I am just not feeling any weight loss in my clothes (maybe a little in my waist). Maybe the scale will be a motivator for upping my activity level.
I hope all of you are doing well. A question tho for those who juice:: how important is it to do an enema for cleansing or is the senna tea enough?
Be well,
Willa

Willa,
First, it's great to hear that you are doing well. Resisting temptation when everything looks (and on the juice fast--smells) so good is a real accomplishment. As far as the enemas go I think you will hear a wide variety of opinions. I personally never did one during my fast (although I did do both senna tea and salt water flushes fairly regularly).
I would say to listen to your body. Around days 4-8 I had a very uncomfortable feeling in my bowels (its hard to describe what exactly it felt like). But it was relieved with the SWF. I think overall the SWF's are a better less intrusive way to go. But thats just me.
I'm also glad that you are sticking with regularly posting to your blog!! Again, keep up the good work!!

Thank you for your thoughts and sharing your experience.
I feel I am struggling and should see the pounds shed off. But I have to realize how much I have done to my body in the past. I think my body is just adjusting to the changes and waiting for the usual fall. Yoyoing is very dangerous, I know but hard to stay away from doing.
I am going to keep blogging even though I am not a pure juicer. I don't want to go back to the world I lived in. I did more massages this week than I have done since I have started my business. I needed the food, I required the food. I did have some problems with my hands and to heal that, it requires the protien. Just like you said you were going to wait for protien in your diet to start lifting. Does that make sense?
Thanks for your continued support. You don't know how much I need it! and appreciate it!!
