Blog: My Juice Fasts And Weight Battle
....but I'm finding it a place to be accountable to.
I'm settling in to the idea that we're rolling now and any setback would be significant. I've cut my caloric intake WAY back and I have only eaten raw/organic. This is a small sample of what is ahead.
It seems like anything can be done for 30-40 days, but can it? I'm getting more and more worried about my health in this process. Is there any chance that I could do any permanent damage to myself? In brief moments I feel like it could be foolish. But the degree to which I am drawn to this process is too powerful.
I'll be starting on 50% caloric intake from juices this weekend. This weekend is getting closer and closer.
Starting Weight: 281
Today's Weight: 276.5
Total Weight Loss: 4.5 lbs.

You'd be surprised at what your body can do.
You aren't going to be doing anything bad to your body by consuming only raw fruits and vegetables. It's difficult to be in surroundings that offer old choices (that are so easy to make). I myself am going to face a huge obstacle this weekend at Vegoose (it's an all day music festival). I'm sure going to be tempted by many things. Have heart. It will be OK and you will feel and look better once you're through.
On the blogging tip....It may get boring but it's good for accountability (like you said) and it'll be good for your records should you decide to do it again.
