    So I just got up and made a carrot/apple juice (no pulp added). I'm going to go for a run in an hour or so, then make a juice with pulp, and eat an apple soon after.

    I've got to run one more time while fasting, it feels so good. Like I'm a light little kid again that could run forever. The few other times I've run on this fast I've cut it to 3 or 4 km, not wanting to push it too hard, but today I think I'll go 10. Get my circulation going deeper than ever before and loosen up the remaining crap in me.

    Speaking of which, I still had mucus etc. coming out last night, but not nearly like before.

    Last night it was harder to get to sleep than any Christmas Eve when I was a kid. So today it's like I woke up on Christmas and am savouring the moment before getting to the presents! I can't explain how good I feel today!

      congratulations! yea i think you are right about ending things on a positive note. the little games we play in our own minds definately have a big effect on us, and i think you're making good decisions. i'm going to start fasting again today, with a very different state of mind this time. you mentioned you had to put on some weight for winter. did you lose a lot of mass from your body during this fast? was it muscle, fat..just mucous??? hehe. im only curious because im quite overweight, and wouldnt mind losing some of this contaminated fat off my body, while my insides are cleansing. ive looked around but cant seem to find anything that seems conclusive about this matter. keep us updated!

        Well, no I didn't really lose much weight during this fast, but I was pretty skinny to begin with. I've been eating really good this summer, mostly raw, and I ran the Calgary Marathon in July.

        So are you starting the MC or a juice fast? I think in the spring when I fast again I'll alternate between the MC and juicing, to get the benefit of both.
