I stole this quote;
Hermann Goering put his finger on it in 1946, not long before he committed suicide. Gustav Gilbert, an intelligence officer, interviewed him in his jail cell at Nuremberg during the war crimes trials. The transcripts of these interviews were published in 1947 in Gilbert's Nuremberg Diary. Gilbert said to Goering that in a democracy the people have some say through their elected representatives and that in the US only Congress can declare war. Goering's recorded reply was: "That is all well and good, but voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same way in any country."
Peace is Patriotic
Getting involved in foreign entanglements is just about the least patriotic thing I can imagine except maybe an equal of trashing the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.
"You can bomb the world to pieces but you can't bomb the world to peace."
You can bomb other people's children to pieces but for every child you kill, you create a family that will hate you. The only answer is a regime change and pulling all troops out of Iraq and Afganistan. The voting booths are rigged though so if a liberal is elected, it will be a fake liberal that supports war. America has been usurped by multinational corporations that could care less about America or Iraqis. It is all about the $$.
Peace is not something that starts in some foreign nation, thousands of miles away, or in a protest march. Peace begins at home. We have to all internalize that peace is patriotic and through the sheer mass of thought shifting to this way of thinking...we can stand up in peaceful individual non-violent protest in our own homes and take take that which has been stolen from us...peace.

Dear friends these are the facts and and as truth barometer I speak out!!
Peace and joy is the fervent desire of all humans... ( This is so true!) Unfortunately even though they cry peace, and may desire it in their hearts there will always be wars and rumors of wars... Until the last trumpet sounds and time will be no more!! This is also true that the poor will be with us until the end of the world!!
The supposed peace we see or have read about is usually only by way of ignorance or else standing behind some defense system... As a student of history I have seen this played out over and over... So sad but true!!
So our best plan is to live in the world and understand that the ideas of man will pass away one day!! We need to get in tune with GOD and direct our life so we better serve HIS purpose for us... This may sound like some Babel; but in it you will find the Absolute Truth... Do not look to yourself for answers; seek the face of Almighty GOD!!
For we are to be good and faithful servants... Something most people rebel against!!

By taking the "religious" programming view we allow for self fulfilling prophecies. We stay in the trap of "oh well God will bail us out." This is the classic victim/seperation trap. It is very much due to religious programming that we have the wars and intolerance we do. Sticking our heads in the sand like a "spiritual ostrich" will just keep the dis ease afloat.
It is no great surprise that politics and religious programming go hand in hand. Apathy makes for an easy police state ;-)
We must become the change we want to see.

When I attend church and the preacher runs up the war flag, I take my family and leave. I believe the church is in apostacy now. The Menonites and Quakers are the only Christian Churches I would align myself behind in the darkest moments in the dawn of World War III. The problem I see is that church leaders are strongly influenced by a Masonic war mongering ideology that started in America with the Southern Baptist Convention. In other parts of the world, the Catholics are influenced by their Masonic masters.
There is a "God" and you can find God in churches everywhere but the quiet still voice of a loving God is hardly heard after the music and singing has stopped. I for one see this world in the grips of men who call themselves pastors, ministers, preiests, and rabbis who may or may not outwardly oppose World War III but if they oppose war, their voices are hardly heard over the loud clanging voice of the state controlled religions of the world. I often ask God to direct me to a church that is worthy of joining but each time I ask, God is silent. I will not put myself under the another man's church leadership that does not speak to the same God that I pray to. Perhaps some day, God will lead me to that place but until then, I will be satisfied with a personal relationship I have with God through my prayer life.

And you really think any of those people; you listed, were in the will of GOD??
Most of the world does not really understand; the spiritual world and the true meaning and purpose of our life here and the real worth of their soul... If they did then you would not have all this sinful activity being called some form of rightness...
We all sin and fall short of the glory of GOD... But we have the opportunity to turn from our evil ways and become Sons & Daughters of the Most High GOD!! It is forgiveness; repentance and learning to help others that will turn your heart!!
These are not my rules or even suggestions they are the commandments of GOD...
Think on these things for you can be saved; oh vain man... We all fit this description, me included!! Prayer is your best bet!!
If I can be of any assistance let me know... Thanks for your concerns on where you will spend Eternity!! It is your decision; not mine, not any of your friends, relatives, or any government, or religious organization... Only you can decide where you will spend Eternity!! It has always been a personal decision!!

I made a trip to heaven many years ago and one thing I came back with was the ability to discern when a pastor, preacher, priest, spirtual leader, etc hears from God. I have found all of those I have heard from in the past few years speak mostly from their flesh. When political leaders say they hear from God, I discern even less. About the closest leader I have heard that hears from God is Jimmy Carter but even with him I sense he is hiding something.
I can hardly sit in a service when I just know that the man at the pulpit is saying he hears from God and is just speaking from his own thoughts or the thoughts of those who they are under authority to. I feel it like a wave or vibration. I know how God sounds so I know it when I am in God's presence. I feel angels sometimes too. If you go to a liberal church they are just as bad as the conservative ones. The liberal churches believe in peace but they don't believe in God and the conservative churches believe in God but they have no peace inside their hearts. Their hearts are hardened. So they believe but don't hear from God. They are are like sieves that leak out all the spirit and all that is left is a shell of a religion.
I ask God frequently to lead me to a church to visit and I go and I get a little out of it but to tell you the truth, I get more out of just praying to God and reflecting on what God's will for my life is.
Perhaps one day there will be a spiritual leader or political leader that hears from God that I will discern is worth following but that day is not today.

I agree with you in that there are not any... ANY real so called religious people who can speak for GOD!!
I am not any kind of religious leader; and I do not or does GOD need me to speak for HIM!! I am only a mentor or truth barometer; one who has witnessed the workings of GOD in my life and spoken to a few of hos messengers... But I do not speak for GOD!!
I also agree that there are not really any actual Church building or other place ( you) anyone has to go to know GOD and HIS WILL in your life... Prayer unlocks the mysteries of the Kingdom of GOD!!
Each and every person must seek his or her own salvation!! There is not any person, church, religion, or place that can do that for you!! First the individual must come to terms that they are lost and seek GOD in their life... Then repent and turn from evil ways... Accept the GRACE of GOD; which is forgiveness and them turn your heart toward helping others...
Visit the sick, those in prison, help cloth the naked, feed the hungry, give drink to those who thirst!! You get the picture... If you are confused then email me or reply to my web site @www.simplytruth.com...
No; I do not know it all; I try to be a humble helper... Seek GOD in prayer!!
Suggest your read the Bio of one John Newton... Author of Amazing Grace: the most popular and best know Hymn in the entire world... Recommend the one from Heroes of the Faith by Anne Sandberg; @ http://www.barbourbooks.com... No I do not get a commission!!
Best to you and any who seek the truth in their life... May God bless you is my prayer... Kermit
