Blog: Raw Juice Fast / Extreme Goddess Makeover
I have been invited by a shaman to participate in an extreme event: 8 days of fasting in mid-September, with a sweat lodge every morning and every evening, with the last 4 days dedicated to Spirit dancing. 40 days of fasting in preparation prior to this event are also required....so that is 48 days of dedicated fasting. “The Purpose of the One World Spirit Dance is to invoke the forces of the heavens and the Earth to create a synergy of World Peace and to bring upon ourselves the revelation of God’s Light.”
Most come to support the dancers. I have been invited to actually be one of the spirit dancers, which is a supreme honor, (for which I am very humble and grateful) and because this is a 4-day duration dance, fasting on only water and tea in the desert, with sweatlodge at sunrise and sunset (16 sweat lodges!), it will surely take me beyond all prior self-imposed limitations about myself, who I am, and my mission of planetary service. This is certainly a manifestation of my soul's cry for an Extreme Goddess Makeover. I am beyond challenged. I am realizing the only possible way to join the seasoned dancers at this level, and to fully participate in these activities which are so extreme to the outer mind, is to surrender beyond every level than I have ever surrendered before.
This will be my biggest undertaking yet on this sacred adventure called life. I am so grateful I have time to do some rigorous cleanses prior to this event, (i.e.: parasite and gall bladder/liver flushes).
I am truly grateful for this opportunity Spirit is bringing to me, and the doors being opened to me.
AHO!

Hi Girl,
This sounds very cool and definately a once in a lifetime experience. In the past, I was fortunate to attend a couple of Korean Shaman ceremonies. They are much different then the Native American ceremonies, but still an experience I will forever cherish. I feel confident that your decision to do a number of pre-cleanses prior to attending this event, will ensure you are in peak condition and able to extract a higher meaning from the experience. Please post details upon your return.
Peace and happiness
