    Hello,

I am a single parent in my late 20's. I enjoy parenting, organic gardening, genealogy, and music. I teach preschool for a living. Some days I enjoy it, some days not so much. I don't deal well with stress. I have dabbled a bit in natural health for several years, almost always using natural remedies, but only when something was 'wrong'. I regret that I waited until now to get serious about my health.

A few weeks ago, I had a spreading freckle removed, and the biopsy came back abnormal. I stay away from doctors as much as possible, and only went in because I had a bad feeling about this spot on my skin. Today they removed more tissue around the area. I have to assume that was not the only damaged area in my body. I have been a vegetarian for almost 5 years now, but not a very healthy one (cheetos aren't meat, you know?) and thats something I've been working on. I'm also apt to think that I didn't inherit great cancer fighting genes, as most of my family has dealt with cancer of some sort.

I do not take any prescription medications, and have rarely done so in the past. I have raised my child free of them for the past three years. I occasionally use aspirin, but nothing else OTC. I'm planning to follow Dr. Clark's plan for health, and also do some fasting. I threw out my cosmetics, and it was very difficult for me. I have been using vinegar and hot water for cleaning for some time now, so it was not difficult to throw out the chemicals around the house. I have a juicer and I like it a lot. My favorite juice is two or three apples with a whole lemon. My blood pressure is normal, my cholesterol is not. I am allergic to wheat and eat it anyway. I really enjoy epsom salts in my bath, and tried ACV in the water too. I think the ACV will be my new shampoo since I threw the old out.

I have removed several toxic relationships from my life. I have a wonderful group of friends. I am trying to reconcile with the father of my sweet child. I have conquered a couple of my addictions. I have stopped wasting too much time online. I am very ready for gardening season. I have lengthened my attention span, and my patience. I do smoke. I do drink. I am overweight.

I have a long road ahead of me, but here I am! :)
