Blog: Journey to Health
Good Morning! 7am arrived and I was up and eager. Still have a mild HA, but I always do, every morning for the past 5 years. So I don't think it's detox anymore, just my normal HA (headache). I checked my mail, put the dog out, fed the cats, skin brushed, had my 2 drops of H2O2 in water, and got ready to go for my walk. I knew that the temp was only 20*. But if I had known that the wind was 14 mph and the wind chill was 14* (brrrr), I wouldn't have went! But you know what, I'm so glad that I did. I harnessed up the dog and out we went. I did come back in for another shirt. I wore my hubbys good biking wind proof suit, so that helped tremendously. Started out with the sun at my back and the with at my front, brrr. My face was the worst, of course. Jedi (the dog) did pretty good, I teaching him to walk with me. He's only 9 months old so he's got lots of energy to help pull me along. The first mile went fine. Turned around and the wind was at my back and sun on my face...Whoo Hoo! It felt great! I did get a little warm (sweat body sweat!) So we walked (a little jogging) 2 miles in 31:35 min. My original plan was 3 or 4 miles, but I thought I did well for the weather conditions. So, now the dog's asleep and I'm enjoying about 12 oz of orange, tangerine, and lime juice. Oh YUMMY! That lime gives it a good kick! I just got word that my husband grandma (very dear to me) was taken to the hospital, possible pneumonia. Prayers please, for her health. Well, I'm going to go do some house work now! Feeling great! "Examine the labels you apply to yourself. Every label is a boundary or limit you will not let yourself cross." Talk to you later! Midge

Your morning headache is a product of years of over toxidity. Sustained juice fasts can usually put an end to the headaches. Although, you may have some more before the end arrives. But that is one sign you need to watch for... the day you wake up without a head ache. (We'll have a party!) Also, pay attention to the white film on your tongue in the mornings. That's a flim of toxins your body excreted while you were sleeping. Of course, remove it by brushing or scraping your tongue. But one day your tongue will be pink when you wake up, not filmed. Sometimes, depends on the level of toxins, it may take a couple fasts and time on raw foods for the tongue to be pink upon waking.
But never fear, dear, you're on the right path. You're doing very good! The one thing that helped me to resist cravings or to not succumb to temptation in restaurants or grocery stores, is by telling myself I am NOT depriving myself of anything. I am giving myself a gift of life and these poor suc***s (looking around the fast food restaurant or grocery store at carts filled with junk) are the ones depriving themselves. And they are. In fact, they are slowly killing themselves and destroying their quality of life.
But you are striving to raise the quality of your life!!
Enjoy the journey!

You know, I kind of wondered about that with my headaches, but didn't know for sure if it was toxicity or not. Thanks for mentioning that, I look forward for them to be gone! Yes, it may take more than just one fast. :( Or maybe if I do this for 40 or 50 days, maybe that will take care of it. Who knows. I just have to see. I'm planning on a colonic in about 2 weeks, that will definitely help get some toxins out. YES!! A party when no headaches!!
Yes, my tongue has been white and yucky. And a horrible taste in my mouth. Bleck!
Thank you so much for the encouragement. Yes, they are slowly killing themselves, just as I was once doing. That is a good way of looking at it.
