  • Day 6 YUCK   by  want2bfree     18 y     2,744       5 Messages Shown       Blog: Hannagrl
It shall be a short post today. I felt horrible up until noon time, teary eyed, tired and over all unwell. In the past, day 6 has always been the day that I could never make it past. For some reason everything really kicks in or is a major detox day. It isn't the time to drive through micky D's and smell the fries and burgers. On top of everything, my daughter informed me that my breath smells TERRIBLE. I don't know what else to do...I have been useing baking soda with my toothpaste but nothing really seems to take it all away. I guess I could get some Scope, but just not sure if it gets into your system. I know you don't swallow it but the mouth is a big elimination channel also. I keep getting a bitter taste in my mouth during the day. This afternoon was better.

After I drank some Spinach-apple juice, I seemed to come around. I drank watermelon juice this morning and it did nothing for me except taste good. Maybe it was the spinach that gave me a boost. I also took a bath this afternoon to try and help with the detox. I am gonna go lay down for a while now, and dream tomorrow will be a better day.

      Hon,

You did the right thing by juicing more greens. It sounds like you are going through one of those nasty detox moments. The best you can do during those times is to drink more juices, waters and teas, to help flush it out of your system and to REST! So you have the right idea. Just remember, it will pass, not to give in to McDs. Think. Your detox will pass by alot quicker than the damage done by chomping down on a cheeseburger. (OMG! I should not have said that word! Been craving a cheeseburger for the last 28 days! LOL)

You will probably have more of these yucky days, which inspite of how nasty they can be, are the best thing that you can do for yourself. You are removing the poisons, the gunk that's accumulated over all this time. You will feel SO rejuvenated later that you'll wonder if you just dreamed about how badly you felt.

Hang in there, you'll make it. We're here for you, to cheer you on.

      *hugs*

    • Peppermint tea, for breath   by  But God     18 y     1,274
      Hi hanna,

This is But Gods huband we started the same day, I just want to let you know between me and you ( and 100 blogger)I think you're doing great. Here's something to make you laugh..last night myself told me not to tell my wife to put some of the salted peanuts (we keep on the dresser) in my mouth chew them around, and just spit them out (that way I won't be cheating).hahaha. of course I didn't do it, but the thought was so halarous.

Anyway, my wife suggest peppermint tea for the bad breath or lemon with a bit of honey.

hannagrl, we'll all do this together one day at a time. I love carrot, apple and celery juice (celery is good for energy). And my wifes favorite coffee enemas, and epson salt soaks (THAT REALLY HELPS). WE'll check on you tommorow and everyday.

LOL hubby of ButGod, I have thought the same thing. If I could just chew somthing, but I know even chewing can restart your appetite, so I stay away from it.

You know I drank the peppermint tea and daughter still said I had bad breath. I must really be letting go of some nasty stuff, BIG MACS I am guessing LOL. I went today and got some Toms all natural mouthwash. it is all natural but may be a bit stronger. hmm I wonder if that is why my boss jumped back away quick when I was talking LOL!!
