Blog: Drinking the Living Water
The last few days I have craved food like a pregnant lady! No, I'm not hungry, I just want taste! Something other than fruits and veggies. I want seasoning, salt and sauce. If this makes any sense. lol ;)
I put a green onion in my mouth, wondering if I could blend it into a tasty drink of some sorts. Then, I was very bad. I put a Manzinilla Olive in my mouth and salvated all over it. The taste of something, sour and salty, kind of vinagery, was TO DIE FOR. Of course, I didn't chew and I promptly spit the olive out. Ah, but I was in heaven for a few short minutes....
I know if I were to stop the fast now, I'd break it very badly and certainly ruin all that I've worked towards. So, needless to say I won't be stopping now. Mindset is important when deciding when to quit. Man, the mind is a powerful agent. I think it's the toughest thing to deal with when fasting.
The last week also gave me a sad 3 pound weight loss. I still have many pounds to loose and 3 pounds in seven days, while fasting, is very discouraging. Fact is, having fasted this long and longer before, I know I'll have weeks like this. It's funny how you know something will happen, and still get disappointed when it does happen.
Had a headache again, with pressure on neck, one day this week. It was a rough day, too. No energy and just felt BLAH. Next day, I was 100% better. Full of energy and ready to go. This has been an interesting fast.
Still eliminating. Did one coffee enema this week, along with two normal ones and two nights of lax tea.
Oh, and I believe my health concern (mentioned in first blog) is gone. Things have gone back to normal, finally. :)

You are an inspiration.
I hope to make it as far as you have this fast. I am going to day forty and deciding then if I want to go to sixty or more.
You make it seem very easily done.
I know what you mean about the mind. Feels like your having a punching match with yourself.
*sub-conscious lands a straight upper cut to conscious, almost knocking him out,lol*
Keep it going, your doing super.
