Blog: body overhaul!!!!!
well, i made it through the day. not too difficult, but is only the beginning. i even managed to run 2 miles and do some pilates tonight. i drank 6 glasses of the mc lemonaide along with lots of spring water. i am sipping on smooth moves tea at the moment. my daughter brought home a pizza today and man did it smell good--but i stayed strong and kept telling myself my body will thank me for not filling it with garbage. i will change-i will eat healthier, i will clean out all the crap stored in my cells. with help from above, i will do this. not to mention all the great people on this forum. well, everyone take care and support and hope to all of us. tomorrow will be day 2, pray for me!!!!

I have seen people overcome every obstacle placed in their way, in this life... You can do it; the first step was to decide to change your habits.... Next you will have to concentrate on sticking to your plan... There will be some disappointments, but you will over come them and move forward... Just ask for support and help we are here for you... see Ya.. Kermit

congratulation on day one, I know it might seem a long way off, one day at a time, it's been a long time for me doing 30 days. when I see or smell something I might want to eat or miss, I say "they'll still be making pizza, chicken, or whatever when I'm done." I'm on day 5 and feeling great!!! But God

I know what you mean in your post about being terrified to get on the scale.
I haven't weighed myself for years, saying "it's just a number, I'm more concerned with how I feel" then I'd go eat something horrible for me.
After 8 days juice fasting and a month of working out, I finally let them weigh me and found I was about 30 pounds heavier than I'd ever been. Holy moly. Was that a shocker.
Way to come out of the dark and into the light. That's a huge huge step. Keep it up and turn to these blogs and the community here as support when people around you bring stuff you don't want around...
Good luck! Keep drinking LOTS AND LOTS OF WATERS AND TEAS, keep yourself hydrated.
