well this morning i have weighed myself and i have lost 2 pounds since last week. which is not great but not too bad. i am glad it is going down and not up but i still have 30 pounds to lose and at the rate of 2 pounds per week it will take forever. so here is the plan i am going to try to stay around 80% raw until after spring break which is in early march. i am still exercising each day adn i want to see what my weight loss is like then. that will be nearly one month post fast. if i am still progressing at 2 pound per week i think i will go back on the juice to lose the rest of the weight.

this morning i had fruit for breakky and a huge salad for lunch just water adn herbal tea for tonite. my appetite is definately smaller a salad never really filled me up before and now i feel stuffed. i went for a run tonite and i felt great. i ran futher than i ever have and didnt really feeled tired - just my legs still hurt but im sure that is becasue they still have to carry around this extra 30 pounds.

as far as oxy powder goes i still love the stuff. i dont even feel liek i am on any laxatives and the BM's are quite terrific really. but nothing unusual. mostly just undigested food. i have two more nites of teh oxy powder to go adn then i am going to quit it. i am not going to take the maintenace dose it talks about. i want my bowels to start working on their own.

i will probably just blog now when i feel like it. i will still be reading quite often but probably wont be posting each day. today i was offered a job- i start on monday so no more lady of lesure for me...i have mixed feelings about this. but i'll try most things at least once so i will give it a go and see if it fits. i alwasy worked in australia so it is not a new thing for me. it is just in america my husband is away a lot so i have found it hard to work. and i am rather picky. this job is just a temporary thing to help out my husbands company but the im sure i will enjoy beign part of a team agian. can i wear a tracksuit to work though?????damn i might actually have to start brushing my hair!

    • That's very fast!   by  davidis1     18 y     1,185
You are losing weight at a rate of 104 pounds per year! You are doing very well. Be warned however that if you continue to fast through dinner every night your nutrition will suffer. You are also making more efficient use of your calories on your current diet. You run the risk of gaining weight rapidly when you go off of your diet. Nobody diets for their entire life. Where will you be when it ends?

thanks for the encouragement and for your concern. i am not really fasting thru dinner on purpose i just dont seem to be hungry some nites and i am trying not to eat just becasue the clock says it is dinner time. also it feels better to go to bed on an empty stomach. but when i am hungry at nite i eat mainly fruit. as far as nutrition goes i think i am good except i am not consuming any dairy or protein so i need to check to see what i should be eating to compensate. i feel really confident about after i have lost the remainding 30 pounds. most of my weight gain was caused by just not caring enought about myself to do the right thing. and that has changed i will not sacrafice myself again. i just have to get rid of this extra 30 and im sure i will be able to maintain and enjoy a healthy lifestyle.

        • I am so glad you're taking care of you now!   by  Dazzle     18 y     954
          Frankly, My Dear,

I think you are doing absolutely incredible, Julie! You really have come a long way since Day 8 when we first met. You seem so calm and at peace. You really are falling into your new lifestyle and gaining strength everyday.

I hope you like your new job and it's not bringing stress to your new life.

I agree with you about sleeping with an empty belly. It's well documented that eating before sleep disturbs the sleep. Because the digestive system is running full speed, less healing is done while sleeping. You are getting all your nutrition through your juices and raw foods.

Listen to your body, it knows what it needs.

I am so glad you're taking care of you now!

          *hugs*
