Blog: journal of my 30 day juice fast
7 days to go. i wanted to wait till i had a week left before i started counting down. i am getting very excited about eating. i have been writing down meal choices for the last few days and it is great. my tastes have definately changed - for the better. well i shouldnt say that i have always really enjoyed tasty healthy food but sometimes just opt for something less healthy. also i feel inspired to cook and prepare all soughts of different things. i want to incorporate far more raw veggies in my meals. funny my kids often ask for their veggies raw and silly me always cooked them. so they are much happier about the raw selection they have on their plate each nite.
i am not so hungry today and yesterday so less juice. i feel really good about being able to listen to my body and adjust the amount as needed. also i have found the dosage of herbal lax'z that seems to be working for me. i went for a run today followed by some exercises, squats, situps and even managed push ups - excellent! its all good.

Whoa, you're getting short, lady! (Another way of saying, the finish line is quickly approaching.) I certainly hope you don't stop blogging when you're done with your fast.
You do intend to stick around and continue blogging as you try to adapt back into the world of mastication, right?

Well, yeah... I'm sticking around. I like this place.
Besides, there's still work to do even though you're coming off the fast. On every fast I have done, I eventually am right back where I was before. It may take a couple months, but it happens. This time, I am going to try something different... Coming off a fast can be a challenge.
BTW, I've been meaning to ask, I remember reading something in one of your earlier messages, about you coming to America... (or am I confusing you with someone else?) Where are you coming from?

| australia...i thought the aus in ausjulie gave that away. but maybe it isnt really recognised by those three letters. but yes i lived near sydney right on the beach surrounded by forest it was very very very special. took me a long time before i stopped craving the environment. i had to let go of some of it because living in the city really messed up my head. but i am lucky i went home last year and hopefully will do so again this year. although it is really hard to get on the plane to come back especially to houston! sorry any houstonians!
