Blog: journal of my 30 day juice fast
i am very hungry today. i've got to try to increase number of juices. yesterday i had 4 but was hungry last nite too. i was so tempted to eat. so going to try to get 5 in today. sipping carrot, apple and spinach as i type...but not enjoying it.
lots of BM's again today even though i havent had smoothe move for two days. still nothing above normal coming out. i am getting sick of this fast but that is me, find it hard to stick to anything. i do feel good but not enjoying the hungry feeling. really want to eat. this has just popped up yesterday and today. hope it goes away as i increase juice. i am sipping on veggie broth too but not cutting the mustard. i swore i wouldnt and i did.....i jumped on scales this morning and once again my weight has gone up. how is that possible???? probably why i am in such a bad mood. may write later if i improve my frame of mind.
oh one other thing i was laying in bed last nite and could not get to sleep, my tongue feels like it is too big for my mouth..like it is swollen at the base near my throat. i know it isnt swollen but what is this sensation? has anyone heard of this happening before???

I was reading in my Juice and detox book and it states that during the fast if you have insane hunger for food than it may be telling your body that you want to be done. I would increase your juice to maybe 6 or 7 for today and tomorrow and then see. If the hunger still persists I would break it and feel successful. I am preparing myself that maybe my body won't let me go 30 days even though it is like my main goal in life right now.

| thanks for the info - i really think it is because i am not drinking enough juice i hope my body can go to 30 days - i have heaps of fat cant my body just use that up for fuel!ha!
