but not so much when they're wrapped in bacon. So yesterday was not a great food day. For breakfast I stopped at dunkin donuts and got an omelette sandwich (probably 400 calories), had 2 pieces of pizza for lunch and some yogurt (probably 500 calories).
I went to the gym on a mission. I burned over 600 calories before I even started lifting, lifted for 25 minutes and then got in the sauna for 25 minutes. I probably burned at least 800 calories.
Get home, and the fiance wants to cook. Great! but lo, it's scallops which I love. Wrapped in bacon? I'm starting to think someone might be sabotaging my diet a little bit. I've clearly stated I don't want alcohol during the week, nor do I want fatty foods. Bam - bacon wrapped scallops and a bottle of wine. I had 2 of them, and insisted he eat the 5th one. He said no and cut it in half and put it on my plate. I should not have eaten it. Good news - there was some still crunchy semi-steamed broccoli on the side, which was great. Go fiber.
This morning I really regretted all those scallops, and I said so. Man did we get into it. And I realized he doesn't know what he's doing but he's sabotaging me. So I found an article about that and sent it to him. And I'm cooking tonight.
What a shitty day.
