    Well...I broke the fast on the seventh day (doesn't somethign about that sound so biblical!) at 141.2 lbs. I will start the fast again on Halloween when I return to Los Angeles. Because of my hectic work schedule the last three days of the fast I barely drank any juice and almost no water so as you can imagine I was weak, light headed, cranky and unable to do my job. I know I should have found time to get the right juice but when I went to the Whole Foods in Columbus Circle to stock up on the proper organic juice the line was literally wrapping around half of the store and I only had a five minute break. And of course my boss I kept having to go out to dinner with my boss which was torturous. That's okay though. I'm not mad at myself since it was a planned fast break. When I stepped on the scale this morning I was 143 lbs which is probably due to having both water and food in my system, but I am eating lightly and continuing to take my cleansing pills. I have until November 20th to be at my goal weight and I WILL reach it no matter what. I even jogged back in forth, back in forth for twenty minutes in my sister's tiny apartment in Queens today cause it was raining and I don't own a jacket. I will post again in a little over a week unless I can't handle it and decide to start the fast again earlier.

      Thanks for the caring support message on my blog.

      7 days was awesome! The first time I did it, I could only do it for 3 days, so 7 is great! Don't feel bad about having to take time off to deal with life for a minute. The truth is, you should be taking a week on and a week off before you try to do the big haul of a 10-14 day fast. This will help you to expel toxins that might thwart your long fast and kill it dead because of a "cleansing crisis". What you are doing now is actually smart. 1 week on, 1 week off (just don't eat garbage and binge of sugary snacks cause that can actually hurt you after a fast). Stick to raw foods, salads and lean proteins (if you have to). Good luck!!!
