Today’s feminist matristic artists must undertake the journey to the dark, split-off, underworld aspect of the Goddess…this journey also revisions patriarchy within an expanded 30,000-year framework as merely one darkening phase of the moon, rather than as an eternal or everlastingly absolute Dark Age.
—Gloria Feman Orenstein, The Reflowering of the Goddess, p. 33
It is as though this epoch in time has been spent in a dark phase of the moon; as though we who are in that moon energy are beginning to feel history moving, the moon moving, back around into another phase—the phase of light, outside of that darkened phase. It is as though the moon is slowly moving into a new phase where there is light, and with that light, we are leaving elements of this patriarchal past behind us.
Let me hypothesize that the 1960’s was the space in time—our time, our historical time—when the moon in this darkened phase began to catch glimpses of the sunlight; in other words, it is as though the moon has been under the power of a solar eclipse! The moon began to come out of that solar eclipse in the 1960’s, and the planet is now beginning to feel Her power once again, and more fully as these years move onward. Perhaps this is what the Mayans were referring to in 2012: that the moon, in that year, will begin to be in a new phase, one that is not under influence of the Sun, but under its own influence and power, and that will create a new Earth. I don’t know about this: I am sure this theory and philosophy has a lot of work needed to fine-tune it. Yet, there is something here, something along the lines of what Orenstein is talking about and what I am proposing.
It is as though this energy of the Goddess began to slowly peak through in the 1950’s, emerging through music and the arts and feminist revivals in the 1960’s and 1970’s, to being somewhat silenced as an outcry for the next 30 years, until we now have this moment in 2005. My history may be off, and my sense of the real behind this might be off: but something is occurring, nonetheless.
Maybe the plant teachers are showing this as well. Maybe there’s more of this going on: perhaps the visions of the goddesses that women and men are experiencing is a direct link to what is happening now. India and her traditions involving the male/female gods and goddesses is more in line with truth than our one god version of Christianity, that’s for sure!
I’m interested in where this is going, for I feel there is some kind of resurrected knowledge here regarding the Goddess as the emergent ruling energy of our planet, and of the resurrected knowledge that Christ is, indeed, Goddess energy. Let’s see where this winds up!

Like this post, Gregg!
This is an excerpt from
one of the Seven Love Cures
called My Goddess Prayer for You:
"Being around me asks a lot.
I, in my distaste for limits and rules, have plenty of them.
There is a price in being with me:
You must learn to dance. You will have to move this way,
and move that way, and then this way, and then that way
until there's no place to go but into the center of your being!"
You can find these on the World's Greatest Lovers site:

for Mother Earth.

- Divine Feminine by Liora Leah

http://www.isaacariel.com/tran1004.html Gregg, you may want to check this out--It's a message from Jesus the Christ as channeled through Isaac George. Jesus talks about the coming of the Divine Feminine and the need to balance the Divine Feminine and the Divine Masculine that we each carry within ourselves. For me this is akin to balancing the Light and the Dark within, the yin and the yang, the Ah and the Oh sounds of the Universe...to quote myself: "As Creation is the perfect yin/yang, the perfect balance of masculine/feminine energies, so too is God."
In days long past when Goddesses where still worshipped on the planet, Hecate or Dark Mother, Kali Ma, Medussa, Lilith, among others, were destroyer as well as creator Goddesses. They destroyed so that rebirth could take place. They were representative of the cycles of the earth--birth, death, and re-birth.

Thank you, Liora. This is a very interesting message, indeed, transmitted through Isaac. I agree with you that this is all about balancing the light/dark, male/female, yin/yang. I think there is a lot being given us now to help us learn how to accomplish this balance, and it's a lot, for sure! It's not an easy task. I am grateful for your words and for the opportunity to learn more about the feminine energy that is teaching me so much, and giving me so much as well. Peace! G

Thank you, Liora, these are helpful and full of insight. I'm also digging into the Egyptian myths behind Isis, as she's right there, too, I think. Thanks! G

Yes, she's the Egyptian Great Mother! She is part of a Holy Trinity: Isis, her husband Osiris, her son Horus. Sound familiar? --LL
