Blog: Cleaning Up My Act
| I've had a cigarette here and there, and ice cream and pizza. I haven't been drunk. And I haven't taken a sleeping pill in two weeks. Some nights I haven't slept, and some nights only for a few hours. But I don't feel anxious, and that's important. I'm not even anxious that I've been eating so indiscriminately since I ended my fast. I've gained some weight, and it's not totally unbecomming. I was a bit underweight before. But still, I feel sluggish. I need to get back to the gym and get a regular sleeping pattern before I try to fast again.

I bet if you stopped eating the pizza and ice cream and exchanged those foods for healthy foods, you'd feel so much better, less sluggish, more alert and your moods would probably improve, as well.
But BIG congrats on your achievements with the sleeping pills, etc. That has to have been a huge struggle to overcome! I am delighted for you. Life will get better!
