| I went from one thing to another today without so much as a time out and I feel it tonight. There are just some things that never change. My daughters annual viist. In times past I have wondered why she even comes. Its really more about her than coming to see me, a fact I have just come to accept. Actually, I am glad, at least she comes, and she no longer presses me for all the answeres to questions that she feels I have with held from her. All the whys of her childhood, why didn't I stay married to her father was always a big one.
She seems to have mellowed a bit. The last couple of years were't quite so painful. Now that my granddaughter is in college, I think she sees the mother daughter connection a little differently. Maybe, she sees how our connection has been permanetly altered, not broken, just altered and she doesn't want that to happen to her and Jessica.
It is sad, after a few years of her attacks I can't trust her to be on my tean, even though I would go to the wall for her---I am shy and always apprehensive about her visit.
So I prepare, the house, with a calming atmosphere, with warm colors and many blooming orchids and flowers in my garden.
She doesn't join me in my raw drinks , but she does do all the veggies and of course salads raw and I have a new recipe I just developed using a marinade for Kale or chard if you like. I will post it next time. Usaully, I make a green drink in my vita mix with kale and spinach or chard, but sometimes its nice to have a alternative. If anyone is interested in either the blended drink or the marinade just let me know
I am working on some recipes for my web site so I will share them as I go along.
The web site should get a real image sometime this week, we are working very hard to get it ready before I leave for NY.
