Blog: Group Juice Fast
| I had a great night of sleep. I sleep from 12 midnight until 730am straight through. I woke up needing juice. Friends B-Day party and she loves to have food and snacks. The body is moving right along the path I expected. I have fasted for 40 day before so it seems as if it is not a problem, however preparation is more of a key this time because my life is more hectic. Mental clarity comes and goes due to eating the (SAD) diet and getting the junk out of the body. I think it is vitally important to drink as much juice as you want and remove the waste via the toilet. I have encouraged the group to drink as much as they want in juice; you are not trying to starve yourself. You are giving your body a rest for a while. Off to enjoy the day I will give update later today after the party.

I woke this morning feeling lighter. I drank 1 tablespoon of epsom salts with glass of water and an hour later began my trips to the bathroom. During this fast, I am seeking to shed any waste both mentally and physically and pray that the group as a whole experiences positive resolve as well. Today I am visiting some friends and of course food is always the central focus in gatherings. I will be taking my juice and a spirit of determination. Wishing everyone a good day and happy juicing.

| Today was a good day. I had great energy today. Never really felt hungry and was in a good mood all day.Hopefully tomorrow will b just as good.Peace

Day 4 I made it through the party-
Last night I attended the party and yes alot of food was spreaded on countertops included the sheet cake that we brought. I stared at the food and debated for a bit. Thinking of all the benefits mentally and physically as well as cohesion with the group - I remained on board. I brought juice with me and suddenly everyone asked,"are you eating tonight"(all eyes on me). I broke down and told everyone that I was juicing. The bday girl looked sort of disappointed because she wanted me to partake in the food with her. A guest stated that she just came off of a juice fast and will get back on Monday. She indicated that she noticed a difference and will extend her juicing the next go round. This morning- woke up alright. Meeting godfather today and of course he enjoys eating. I will take my juice with me. Will keep you posted.
