Blog: Juice/Water FASTING Daily Progress Log- NEW March 2009

Well,this is day 7 and the magnesium citrate I drank last night has been working. I wasn't sure there was much of anything left in there but there was! I had loose water stools all night with a small amount of what I would call sludge. I hope this isn't too graphic for anyone but I want to tell you what to expect if you go about it this way. I have ordered spirulina and chlorella, as well as a bentonite cleanser. I still don't feel all clean and emptied out, though. If I didn't have work tomorrow I'd probably drink another bottle to finish the job but I got what I got from it so I'll wait until my pkg arrives.
I drank mostly water again today- but not nearly enough. I drank about 8oz of juiced grapefruit. I'm just not really wanting anything still. I felt fine all day except for this evening, I became so tired all of a sudden. I have had plenty of energy up until then so I can't complain. My stomach feels nice and flat and I wore some jeans today that had been too tight and didn't look good so feel good about that. Am really excited every night to go to sleep so I can wake up in the morning and see results. The days have been flying by. Good luck to all of us tonight! Happy fasting :)

Hey, it's never too late to start measuring your progress! I've been a vegetarian for 1 1/2 years but whenever I'm fasting, I crave meat! blah I love grains too but I don't eat it because they make me binge. To be honest, many things make me binge if they're not simple fruit of veggies. Is magnesium citrate epsom salts?? if it is..ughh I've drank it before to flush everything out and took me 30 minutes to drink the whole thing. I was shaking from disgust! hahah anyway, hope you had a great day!

Hey girl, I hope your day was an easy one. Magnesium Citrate is the stuff in the little glass bottle in the pharmacy section at Wal-Mart, etc. It's carbonated (so drink it cold and it's almost like a pop, which I haven't in years) and it's usually lemon lime flavor (mine was cherry)and it sells for like a buck or something. It's what they give people to clean out to get ready for a colon scope if you can't drink the nasty stuff they give you. It has directions on it to give to kids and adults who are constipated and for adults, the bottle can be a single serving- it's 10oz. It's not bad at all at first but tastes a little salty to me about half way through but still tolerable for sure. It's safe and cheap!
Carbs make me want to binge too. I never eat sugar either because when I do it flings a craving on me that takes a lot to go away. I stay away from all forms of sugar. If I have to sweeten anything I use stevia (used to use Splenda but Stevia is natural so it surely is safer?). By the way, my name is Lisa :)
