Blog: My 40 day Juice Fast
Sorry haven't been posting for a while. I had a pretty bad bronchitis and my mom ended up at the hospital for a couple of days.
I'm still fasting and did not take any medication while ill. I just water fasted for 2 days and it cleared up on its own. I'm glad my doctor actually encouraged me to do so.
I must be honest: I have another blog on freedomyou.com and find much support over there, unlike this site where I never get any comments on my posts!! Aren't we here for that? A little support would be nice...
Anyways, I'm down 15 pounds in 20 days, which is an averable of 0.75 per day,; exactly the same daily loss as on my last long fast.

Hey Im semi new to curezone, but a newbie to the juicing part. I read your first post about why you have this in the past and it sounds just like me. I just started today on a juice fast for the first time ever. I took phentermine for over a year and loved how easy it was to lose weight. But this summer i lost my vison (detatched retina) and have had sooo many surgeries, finally it stayed put! but my eye is stil healing along with my body and I've gained 20 pounds. But like you this whole experience has been a weird but very enlightenting one, I feel as though this is a very spiritual journey in getting close to GOD and Im very excitied to start this endeavour. I do want to lose weight quickly but I have to keep telling myself that its not just about that. Im cleansing my mind body and spirit. I have these next 40 days more or less to myself and I know i would like some support as well!
What types of juice are you having and how much? Do you do enema's? Just curious to see what your daily routine is like. Thanks and keep it up, just keep your goal in you vision everyday!!!

Hello!
Thank you for your message, really, it is so nice to see that I'm not the only one that is going through this. I am sorry to hear about your eyes and wish you great health. You don't have to worry about the 20 pounds you put on, trust me they will be gone in no time. So in terms of juices, every morning, I fill a 32oz bottle of juice. The base vary depending on what fruit I have. One of my favorites is Pinapple, Orange and Sweet potatoe. It's like a summery milk shake (the swt pot gives it that milky texture.) Mango Orange is another great one. I also love apple juice on its own. That's always a life saver because it is very easy to make, apples are cheaper than other fruit and as crazy at it may sound, juice fasting gets pretty expensive. I have to admit: I have been terrible at doing enemas.. but on my last juice fast, I did enemas pretty much every other day. I gotta get back on track with that. So basically, a typical day for me is as follows:
7: Get up and take my dog to the beach
8: a bit of Royal Jelly under my tongue and a shot of ginseng and 1 tablespoon of olive oil
9: If hungry, I'll have a glass of juice but most of the time, I dont have any becaus from what I have read, it is better not to consume anything before 11am, which allows the body to continue the night fast until 11am.
12: Gym: 10 warm up on treadmill, 30 mns HIIT bike (high intensity interval training program) 10 mns cool down and 10 mns stretching, then sauna for toxins
2pm: Drink a good amount of juice (finish my bottle)
6pm: go home
7pm: if hungry, have a veggie juice
If you need any other info, I have LOADS of reading material on fasting. I find it absolutely vital to listen to and read material about fasting while i'm on a fast. So if you need anything, please don't hesitate. The only thing is that those files are too big for email, so u might need to add me on msn or something. Let me know and Happy fasting!

It is hard when people don't give feed back and that is what we need the most. I hope that the number of 'hits' encourages you!
Keep going. I'm learning, against my will, that I am born alone, I will die alone. I even, at times in a crowded house and a world of millions of people, truly live alone. I am learning to be my own best friend.
I am here to support you.
Be well and keep going!
