Blog: My 30 Day Fast-The Exquisite Journey
And I am looking forward to next Friday when I can say YEAH!!! I did it!
Today was pretty normal day. When I finally fell asleep I was headachy and just plain achy. I am growing tired of the mixture concoction I’m taking and I find I drink more water everyday than anything else. I may have one drink mix then I drink water all throughout the day and my body lets me know when I haven’t had enough water.
I have thought about ending early but 2 things have kept me going. 1 is all the gunk, crap and old sh!# I am seeing leave my body. I am so thankful and grateful that I have embarked upon this journey at this time of my life. I see clearly how and why people are disease ridden and have no energy. Reason #2. I promised myself. I made a commitment to myself. We often let ourselves off the hook then resent ourselves for do it! It is amazing the things we allow ourselves to get away with! I am practicing (and I have referenced this many times) Accountability! For those of you who are spiritual or practice the law of attraction, accountability and decisiveness can take on a whole new meaning! We ask for things and we “intend” things but are we willing to act on the guidance and inspiration that we receive in order to get what we want? Are we able to show God or the Universe who we are in truth and in action? It can be tricky sometimes because if we don’t know who we are, how do we know what we want?
I have known that for me, when things become complicated or just plain hard…I tend to throw in the towel…hard stuff causes me to work hard... and a part of me doesn’t want to put that much energy in. I am a smart chick so there are enough easy things for me to accomplish and more than enough that come easy, but I have to ask myself, are they as rewarding??? Completing this fast is practicing completing…. Where it counts most!
Haven’t really been hungry but I have been thinking about oranges and cherries so I intend to get lots of healthy stuff. I pray I don’t fall victim to buffalo wings and pizza. I have been sleepy, but overall I have been happy. I drank some lax tea before I went to sleep and when I woke, I didn’t have the urge to “go” so I took an enema and wouldn’t you know it.. MORE stuff comes out! Wow! It seems that I had even better results with doing both so I am going to do that until the end of my fast. I am amazed at all that I have seen come out of me. They say the average person is walking around with 25 pounds of fecal matter inside them…I guess that what the “big” belly is all about…but yet we find it hard to stay away from the poison of fast and processed food. That damn stuff should be outlawed because it IS A DRUG! I have been known to be a “junkie,” I am whore for Debbie Cakes and a Resse Cup Blizzards! I may not be alone, but seeing “alien looking paraphernalia” in the commode after a BM has given me a new reason to take care of myself. My breath is still a little funky but the white coating is subsiding everyday. I hope I soon can breathe out and smell NOTHING! I just have to stay up on the brushing...
I am excited about this new life…and I am ready to eat a good salad, vegetables are similar to “the breast” they TRULY are the best.
